Hello, my name is Travis. A photographer with a focus on adventure, lifestyle, and portraiture based in Nairobi although currently living and working in Kampala.

My photographic journey began more than a decade ago– during my first winter break in the US, my gracious host family in Kentucky bought me a Canon point-&-shoot, my first ever true camera as a holiday gift, to share my study-abroad experiences with my family thousands of miles away in Kenya;

Since those formative years & several cameras later, my fascination with the timeless allure of photography knows no bounds; when it comes right down to it, digital photography, to me, is as much an exquisite art-form (and dare I say, a science!) as it is a way of life; it is a true reflection of the people, places, and stories that inspire us.

And now, I'm thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter of my creative disposition– writing with light, capturing moments in time, sharing the sights (perhaps tastes & sounds too!) from my personal experiences, new places I visit, new people I meet & old friends alike, and snippets of my early years as a photographer too ...the world through my eyes, and lenses.
